Amrut – Fusion (70cl, 50%)

A single malt from the Amrut distillery in Bangalore, India, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered. Fusion is a vatting of two malts. One is made from barley grown at the foot of the Himalayas, the other from Scottish barley dried over peat smoke. Each was aged separately for four years in near-tropical heat, which speeds maturation in the way of old Caribbean rums. It is described as a rounded, peated malt.
