Amrut – Fusion Single Malt

Amrut Fusion is an Indian single malt whisky that takes its name from the malt behind it. Two kinds are used: one Indian, the other Scottish and peated. The result joins eastern and western malting traditions in a single dram, with a little peat sitting alongside fruit and sweetness. The nose combines malt with blood orange, brown sugar, vanilla and a touch of Scottish peat. On the palate come orange, vanilla, oak, coffee and peat, and the long finish balances sweet, spicy and peaty notes.
