Amrut – Fusion X (70cl, 50%)

Amrut Fusion X is an Indian single malt bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, released to mark Amrut's 10th anniversary. It began as the original Amrut Fusion, which was then matured for a further four years in former PX sherry casks. The release coincided with the birthday of Neelakanta Rao R Jagdale, the distillery's late chairman, who created the formula for the original Fusion and is known, according to Amrut, as the father of Indian single malt whisky. The bottle is porcelain, made by Wade in England and adorned with a sketch of Neel. The edition numbers 1,010 bottles worldwide.
