This is Amrut Indian Single Malt Whisky, made from barley grown in the north west of India. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Amrut matures the whisky in new American oak and ex-bourbon casks before bottling.
The nose is intense with barley and grain, nuts, citrus and apricot. On the palate, barley and honey develop alongside allspice, apricot and rum, and the finish brings apples, apricot, greengages, malt and fruit.
