Amrut Indian Single Malt is a single malt whisky from Bangalore, India, matured about 3000 feet above sea level. Its barley and water are sourced from Punjab and Rajasthan.
The whisky is aged in a mix of ex-bourbon barrels (90%) and ex-sherry barrels (10%). It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The warm climate speeds maturation, and the angels' share in India is put at 11-12%, against about 2% a year in Scotland.
