Amrut Kadhambam is an Indian single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 50% ABV. The name means 'mixture' or 'combination'.
The whisky was matured first in ex-Oloroso casks, then spent time in brandy casks and was finally finished in rum casks.
The nose is rich and floral, with honey, nuts, new oak, vanilla, and citrus and tropical fruit. The palate has candied fruits, subtle oak, a light dusting of peat and integrated spice. The finish is warming, dry and long.
