Amrut Kurinji Single Malts of India (70cl, 46%)

Amrut Kurinji is a single malt from the Single Malts of India range, in which Amrut bottles whiskies from small, lesser-known Indian distilleries. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky comes from the mountainous region that shares its name with the kurinji, a flower found in India. On the nose it is floral and fruity, with pear and melon over vanilla, toffee and a mineral note. The palate brings lemon and caramel, then honey, vanilla, creamy toffee and flowers. The finish is medicinal, with plantain and lemon.
