Amrut Kurinji Single Malts of India (70cl, 46%)

Kurinji is an Indian single malt bottled by Amrut in its Single Malts of India range, which is devoted to whiskies from small, lesser-known Indian distilleries. It is named after the mountainous region it comes from, and after a flower found in India. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The nose is floral and fruity, with pear and melon, then vanilla, toffee and a mineral edge. The palate brings lemon and caramel, a honeyed and vanilla middle, creamy toffee and flowers. The finish is medicinal, with plantain and lemon.
