Amrut Marudham is an Indian single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It takes its name from marudham, a type of agricultural land, and its character is said to spring from that locale.
The nose is fruity and tropical, with ripe plantain and pineapple rising through creamy vanilla and warm chocolate. On the palate, pineapple and plantain lead, followed by velvety vanilla and melted chocolate, with a thick texture and a note of sweet spice. The finish is long and warm, with lingering pineapple and vanilla, then hints of tropical sugar and sun-warmed oak.
