Amrut – Master Distillers Reserve 8 Year Old 2014/2022 PX #3505 (50%)

Amrut Master Distillers Reserve is an eight-year-old single cask single malt from Bangalore, India, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2022 at 50%. It is made from malted, peated barley, with the peat coming from Scotland, and was twice distilled in an iron still. The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks before a finish in old, refilled Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is the first peated Amrut to have matured in sherry casks. The outturn is 510 bottles.
