Orange peel-infused cask finish
An Indian single malt from Amrut, bottled at 50%. Its name comes from the Hindi word for orange. The whisky is first matured in oak in the warm Indian climate, then finished in casks that were previously infused with orange peel. The nose offers orange zest, mandarin, honey and vanilla, with hints of spice and light wood. On the palate it is full and vibrant, with sweet citrus, candied orange peel, malt, soft spices and a touch of chocolate. The finish is long, warm and fresh, with citrus notes that linger.
