Amrut – Neidhal Peated Indian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Amrut Neidhal Peated is an Indian single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% abv. It is the first release in Amrut's Single Malts of India range, which sets out to show lesser-known malts from the country. A run of 12,000 bottles was made for the world, with 1,200 of them allocated to India. The whisky takes its name from the Neidhal, the coastal region it comes from. It is described as having tropical fruit, vanilla and soft phenols on the nose, with sea salt above all, then fruit and phenols with a touch of iodine on the palate, and a phenolic finish with sweet vanilla.
