Amrut Peated is an Indian single malt aged in oak barrels, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It is a peated expression from Amrut, described as coming from the land of the Great Himalayas, and rich and intense in style.
The nose is typically described as sweet cured bacon, smoke, malt and sweet peat with a touch of caramel. The palate is fruity, with plenty of malt and a tart edge, while the peat holds back. The finish is medium, with the peat emerging at the end alongside fruit teas.
