This is a peated Indian single malt from Amrut, bottled at a cask strength of 62% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from carefully selected Indian barley grown at the foot of the Himalayas. The nose is smoked barley with a maritime note, salted butter and a peppery bite. The palate is vibrant, with a sudden, intense malty surge followed by drier oak. The finish is delicate and elegant, with peat coming forward, then soft liquorice and molasses sugar.
