This is a peated whisky from Amrut of India, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The nose combines sweet cured bacon, smoke, malt and sweet peat, with a touch of caramel. On the palate it is notably fruity, with plenty of malt and a tart edge, and the peat stays in the background. The finish is medium in length, with the peat coming through at the end alongside fruit teas.
