Amrut Peated is a single malt from India, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Peat is the focus. The nose is dry and distinctive, with a little leather and citrus fruit. On the palate, honey sweetness meets the peat, and the dry, fragrant character adds depth to the sweetness.
The finish is clean and deep, balanced and elegant, with shortbread and vanilla notes running alongside the peat.
