Amrut Portonova is an Indian whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at a natural cask strength of 62.1% ABV.
It is aged in American oak casks and then finished in port pipes. The whisky is unpeated. It won the award for Best Cask Innovation at the 2011 Malt Maniacs awards.
The port finish brings a pronounced sweetness to the whisky.
