Amrut Rye is a single malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 50% ABV. It is made from European rye and matured in new American oak casks. The nose brings white peach, caramel, roses, bread dough and cassia buds. The palate shows cherry, papaya, sauerbraten, cocoa, lemon and caramel candy, with a hint of sherry cask ageing. The finish runs through lemon, melon, dry sand, quince, honey, wood shavings and lime.
