Amrut Single Cask Madeira is an Indian single malt finished in an ex-Madeira cask, taken from cask number 8835. It is bottled at 60% in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers blackberry compote, restrained cinnamon, sweet confectionery and freshly baked fruit cake. On the palate it is silky, with orange and ginger marmalade, dark chocolate ganache and figs in honey. The finish is medium in length and gently spiced, with fresh oak, delicate tannins and a lingering note of bright marmalade.
