Amrut – Single Malts of India Neidhal (70cl, 46%)

Neidhal is the first release in Amrut's Single Malts of India range, which sets out to show some of the lesser-known malts of India. It is a single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with 12,000 bottles released worldwide. It takes its name from the Neidhal, or coastal, region, and its character is tied to that setting. The nose offers tropical fruit, vanilla with soft phenols, and above all sea salt. The palate brings fruit cocktail and phenols with a touch of iodine, and the finish is phenolic with a little sweet vanilla.
