Amrut Spectrum 004 is an Indian single malt bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to Amrut's Spectrum series, an experiment in maturation.
The spirit was aged in a reconstituted barrel built from staves of different woods: new American oak with a number 3 char, lightly toasted new French oak, ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry. The 004 release first appeared in 2017.
