Amrut – Triparva Triple Distilled (70cl, 50%)

Amrut Triparva is a single malt from Bengaluru in India, and the first triple distilled malt the distillery has released. The fermented wort is distilled three times instead of the usual two, which is the focus of this edition. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, limited to 5,400 bottles worldwide, without added colour and without chill-filtering. The nose brings salted caramel, coconut and vanilla cream, with peach and melon building towards plantain and sweet orange. On the palate, creamy peach and melon recall fruit in syrup, alongside vanilla, honey and a rich, dense texture. Honey and plantain linger in the finish, with a mild touch of spice.
