Amrut – Two Continents 4th Edition (46%)

Amrut Two Continents is an Indian single malt from the Amrut distillery in Bangalore, in its 4th Edition and bottled at 46%. The barley is grown in the north-west of India, in fields watered by Himalayan meltwater, and travels more than 2,500 km to Bangalore, which lies at over 900 metres above sea level. The whisky is distilled and matured there. Once the angels have taken their share from the casks, the whisky makes a further journey of 9,000 km to Europe, where it continues to mature in a cooler climate. That crossing gives the whisky its name.
