A Kentucky straight bourbon from Angel's Envy, in a 75cl bottle at 50% ABV. It is made in Kentucky and finished in barrels that previously held Port from Portugal.
The bourbon first matures for roughly four to six years in new charred American white oak. It is then blended and finished for up to six months in 60-gallon Port casks, and blended again.
The nose offers vanilla, raisins, maple syrup and toasted nuts. The palate is soft and creamy, with vanilla, ripe fruit, maple, toast and dark chocolate, with the Port adding fruit and sweetness. The finish is clean and sweet, with a hint of Madeira wine and ripe fruit.
