Ardbeg Grooves The Ultimate is a limited edition single malt bottled at 46% ABV, with a label that recalls the style of the 1960s. It matured in heavily charred wine casks and is non-chill-filtered and free of added colour. Smoke arrives late. Salt and a sweetness of molasses, vanilla and fruit come first on the palate, before tar, barbecue notes, paprika and mustard appear. The finish is long, with fruity smoke.
