Ardbeg Perpetuum is a limited edition single malt released in 2015 to mark the 200th anniversary of the Ardbeg distillery on Islay. Its name reflects the distillery's continuing devotion to smoky whisky. Intense Islay smoke forms the base, with sweet vanilla and caramel and subtle spice. Maturation in sherry casks adds dried fruit, plums, raisins and honey. The texture is velvety and creamy, and a touch of sea salt rounds off the flavour.
