Arran Robert Burns Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 43%)

This is a single malt from the Isle of Arran Distillers, made in honour of the Scottish poet Robert Burns. It is officially endorsed by the World Burns Federation, which the distillery has partnered with since 1998. That partnership allows Burns's likeness and signature on the label, as Arran is the closest distillery to his birthplace of Alloway in Ayrshire. The whisky is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, with no artificial colouring. It can be taken neat, with water or ice, or in a long drink. The nose is fresh vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is sweet and creamy, with honey, toffee-glazed pecans and summer fruits, leading to a finish of sweetness, apple and citrus.
