Ballina Dúbailte is an Irish single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It was matured in a combination of 55% bourbon casks and 45% Oloroso sherry casks, and serves as the introduction to Ballina's core range.
The nose is light and honeyed, with green apple, pear and honeydew melon. The palate is medium-bodied, with vanilla fudge and butterscotch, followed by raisins, dried fruits, gentle spice and subtle nuttiness. The finish is warming and lingering, with soft walnut and honey.
