This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Balvenie, made from barley malted by the distillery itself. The 1931 Collection marks the year William Grant & Sons first used home malted barley.
The whisky was first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then given a sherry cask finish, which adds depth and fruit character. It is a limited edition, bottled at 47.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
