A blended rye whiskey from Bardstown Bourbon Co., in a 750ml bottle. It is a Kentucky rye finished in barrels made from infrared-toasted cherry oak.
The nose offers red berries and dark cherries with soft vanilla, oak, toasted marshmallow and fresh mint. On the palate, rye spice comes first, followed by juicy cherry, cinnamon, caramel and toasty wood, with a rich mouthfeel from the cherry oak finish.
The finish is long, dry and warming, with red fruit, oak char and rye spice.
