Ben Nevis 10 Years is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Ben Nevis distillery in the western Highlands, matured for ten years in oak casks. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV, bottled without chill-filtering or added colour. This release carries the 2021 label.
The distillery sits at the foot of Britain's highest mountain, near Fort William, and the malt is described as full, spicy and aromatic.
The nose offers sweet porridge, malt and floral notes, with apple, orange peel, walnut, lemon and a touch of leather. Tropical fruit, grain, nutmeg, resin and black pepper lead the palate, and the long finish brings orange oil and grassy notes.
