Big Peat 10 Year Old Mizunara is a blended malt made for Douglas Laing's 75th anniversary. It brings together 10 year old Islay single malts from Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen.
The malts were finished for two years in a single virgin Mizunara oak cask, with the wood sourced from Hokkaido, Japan. It is bottled in a 70cl bottle at 48% ABV, without artificial colouring or chill-filtration.
The palate is described as smooth, with delicate sweet coconut, gentle spices and peat smoke.
