Big Peat 15th Anniversary Limited Edition (70cl, 50%)

Big Peat 15th Anniversary is a limited edition blended malt made by Douglas Laing to mark fifteen years of the brand in 2024. It is a marriage of Islay single malts: Caol Ila for sweetness, Bowmore for balance, Ardbeg for an earthy, medicinal quality and Port Ellen for elegance. The blend was matured mainly in hand-selected red wine casks. It is bottled at 50% as a small batch, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour, in a 70cl bottle. The carton carries 15 discoverable points about Big Peat, Islay and the whisky. Heavy peat, brine and ash sit alongside fruity and nutty aromas.
