Big Peat The Thropaigeach is the 2024 Fèis Ìle edition of this blended malt, an annual limited release. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration and with natural colour.
The whisky was finished in specially selected Caribbean rum casks, which gives the edition its name: Thropaigeach is Gaelic for tropical.
A firm, typical smokiness leads, with syrupy flavours of flambéed banana and grilled meat.
