Blanton's Conquête 2021 is a single barrel bourbon from Warehouse H at the Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. It was bottled in a 700ml bottle for La Maison du Whisky in Paris, and Conquête, French for conquest, is the name of this edition.
The nose is powerful and dry, with honey, rye, dried fruit, vanilla and chocolate. The palate is full and rich, with apricot, butter, pepper, honey and oak. The finish is long, with toffee apple developing into pecan and caramel.
