Blanton's Gold Edition is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. It is bottled by hand at 51.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and it is non-chill filtered.
The bottle carries a gold label, gold wax and the gold horse and jockey stopper. Honey, toasted oak and dark fruit lead on the nose. The palate offers rich caramel, buttery vanilla, baking spices and ripe citrus, and the long finish brings toffee, pipe tobacco and spiced orange peel.
