Blanton's Gold Edition Single Barrel 2013 (70cl, 51.5%)

Blanton's Gold Edition Single Barrel 2013 is a Kentucky bourbon in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 51.5% or 103 US proof. It was dumped on 4 June 2013 from a single cask, number 53, which was stored on rick number 12. Blanton's is normally a 6 to 8 year old bourbon, aged in Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace. This is the distillery's only metal-clad warehouse, built shortly after Prohibition, and its metal walls pass on heat more quickly than brick, so the whiskey ages faster. The stopper is one of eight designs, each showing a horse and jockey during a race.
