Blanton's Gold Edition Single Barrel (70cl, 51.5%)

Blanton's Gold Edition is a single barrel bourbon from Kentucky, in a 70cl bottle at 51.5%, which is 103 US proof. The whiskey was dumped on 4 June 2013 from cask 189, which sat on rick number 29. Blanton's is normally a 6 to 8 year old bourbon. It is aged in Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace, the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery, where the metal transfers heat faster than brick and allows more rapid ageing. Each bottle carries one of eight stoppers, each showing a horse and jockey at a different stage of a race.
