Blanton's Gold Label is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 51.5% ABV. This is the 70cl international format.
Each bottle is hand-selected from Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky. It is made from the distillery's high-rye Mash Bill #2.
The nose is spicy, with rye and tobacco alongside caramel, honey, dark fruit and citrus. On the palate it is rich and bold, with rye spice, charred oak, tobacco, honey and vanilla. The finish is long, with warm spice and oak tapering into caramel sweetness.
