Blanton's Green Label Special Reserve (70cl, 40%)

Blanton's Green Label Special Reserve is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the export expression of Blanton's, made for Europe, Asia and international retail. Each bottle comes from a hand-selected barrel in Warehouse H and uses the high-rye Mash Bill #2. The barrel number and warehouse are printed on the label, and the stopper is one of eight racehorse designs that spell out B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S. The nose is floral and delicate, with soft vanilla, light caramel, cedar and raisin. On the palate come vanilla, toffee, dried fruit and white pepper over a subtle rye backbone, followed by a clean finish of light oak and warm spice.
