A single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, bottled for La Maison du Whisky in Paris as its 2022 release. The barrel comes from Warehouse H, and the whisky is in a 70cl bottle, the size used for European markets.
The nose is dry and powerful, with honey, rye, dried fruit, vanilla and chocolate. The palate is full and rich, with apricot, butter, pepper, honey and oak. The finish is long, moving from toffee apple to pecan and caramel.
