Blanton's Straight From The Barrel Bourbon (75cl)

Blanton's Straight From The Barrel is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, bottled at natural barrel strength with no added water and no filtration. It comes in a 750ml bottle. The barrels are taken from Warehouse H and the mash bill is the high-rye Mash Bill #2. Each bottle comes from a single barrel, so the strength varies and is printed on the label, typically between 120 and 140 proof. A gold wax seal sets it apart from the red wax of Blanton's Original. Tasting notes describe a nose of dark chocolate, caramel, toasted nuts and walnut. The palate brings warm vanilla, rye spice, oak, honey and butterscotch, and the finish is long, with spice and charred oak.
