Blanton's Takara Gold Box Single Barrel Bourbon (75cl)

Blanton's Takara Gold Box is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon made as an export expression for the Japanese market. Takara Shuzo is Blanton's long-time distribution partner in Japan, and the bottle comes in a gold presentation box with the horse stopper that marks every Blanton's. Each bottle is drawn from a single barrel selected from the centre of Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace Distillery. This edition is described as richer and more concentrated than the standard Blanton's. The nose offers nutmeg and spice. On the palate come dry vanilla with honey, strong caramel and corn, and the medium finish brings corn and nutmeg back.
