A 7-year-old Bowmore single malt from Islay, matured entirely in second-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 50% ABV. Bowmore was founded in 1779 and is among Scotland's oldest distilleries.
The nose has sea salt and distant smoke. On the palate come soft vanilla and lemon zest, warm oak and a touch of salted toffee, followed by a lingering hint of bonfire ash.
