Broadbent 10 Year Old Verdelho Madeira (75cl)

Broadbent 10 Year Old Verdelho is a Madeira from Portugal, made from Verdelho grapes grown in Seixal, Ponta Delgada, São Vicente and Arco de São Jorge. The grapes are picked by hand, and fermentation is stopped after six to seven days with neutral grape spirit to keep the intended sweetness. The wine is aged in French and American oak casks using the traditional canteiro system. The Broadbent range began in 1996. Amber gold with a green rim, it is medium dry and full bodied, concentrated and fresh, with apricot and mandarin orange. The aftertaste of exotic fruits is long.
