This is a 13 year old single cask Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, part of the Micro Provenance series. It is made from Optic barley and was matured from 2010 in a first fill bourbon cask, number 1216.
The cask lay in warehouse WHSP3 on Islay, and the bottling reflects the microclimate of that warehouse. It was bottled in 2024 at 61% ABV, in natural colour and without chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle. Only 204 bottles were filled worldwide.
