Re/Define Thirty is a 30-year-old unpeated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 43.2% in a 75cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Half of the whisky spent all thirty years in refill hogsheads. The other half was moved from refill casks into fresh oak after twenty years. The two parcels were then married for three months in refill bourbon barrels before bottling. The nose is sweet vanilla, soft oak and a little tropical fruit, with apple pie and coconut. The palate brings apple, poached pear and brown sugar with a faint sea-air saltiness, and the finish is medium to long, with coffee, cocoa and dark chocolate.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
