Buffalo Trace Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon made from corn, rye and malted barley and aged in new oak. This bottle holds 1.75 litres at 40% ABV.
It comes from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, which has operated continuously since 1787.
The nose is complex, with vanilla, mint and molasses over new oak. The palate is pleasantly sweet, with brown sugar and spice giving way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise, and the finish is long and smooth.
