This is Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon in the K.W.S. Edition, drawn from barrel number 065, in a 1.75L bottle at 45% ABV. Buffalo Trace Distillery stands on the banks of the Kentucky River and has been making bourbon for more than 200 years.
The whiskey is deep amber in colour. The nose brings vanilla, mint and molasses. The palate is sweet, with brown sugar and spice that give way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. The finish is long and smooth, with real depth.
