This is a single-vintage Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, distilled in 2005 and aged for 20 years. The Master Distiller held it until the barrels reached their peak, and it is presented in a hand-cut crystal decanter that is individually numbered.
The colour is a very deep amber. The nose brings caramel, dried fruit, aged leather and deep oak. The palate is rich and concentrated, with dark fruit, warm spice, vanilla and well-integrated oak, and the finish is very long.
